In order to expedite your book we will need a final manuscript submitted in MS WORD format. If you do not submit your manuscript in final form additional charges could be incurred. Make sure that along with your manuscript files you have also signed the author's agreement and made payment. If you do not do this properly it will greatly slow down this process. If you have any questions please call 1-800-325-9136 and speak to an Acquisitions' Manager Neil Silverberg . Here is how to submit your files:

•  Submit the book in one electronic file (MS Word) which contains all chapters (we can take individual chapter files but prefer one continuous file

•  Please make sure that your manuscript is single-spaced in 12 point, Times New Roman or Times font.

•  Please include text styles in your manuscript: bold, italic, bold italic, underscore, etc.

•  Include title page as your first page of the manuscript (with title, subtitle, and author name exactly as you want it to appear

•  Make sure you have clearly labeled each chapter properly

•  Be sure to indicate on the copyright page which Bible version you have used

•  Create a Table of Contents for your book and any indexes or appendixes. Make sure and include them in the exact order you want to the to appear and create them manually rather than using Word's automatic features. (Don't include page numbers in your Table of Contents as we will assign them to the final galley pages).

•  Please do not use footnotes (use endnotes typed in manually)

•  Don't type your name and page number on each page (we will do that)

•  Don't use the spacebar to indent in your manuscript

•  Do not use columns

•  Make sure and hit the return key when you begin a new paragraph

•  Do not hit the return key at the end of each line but let it flow naturally

If you have graphics in your book there are certain specifications to follow. Manuscripts with graphics generally take 2-3 weeks longer to format and longer if we have to scan graphic images.

•  We will only print graphics which are black and white (no color for interior graphics).

•  We cannot reduce graphics (they cannot be larger than the page of your printed book)

•  You can scan the images yourself or give them to us to be scanned (e-mail, cd, diskette)

•  If you scan the image they should be scanned at 100%, 300 dpi. then saved as TIFF or JPEG (only send JPEG if e-mailing). If you give us images scanned at less than 3000 dpi they will not print well in your book.

•  Send graphic files separately (do not imbed them in your book).

•  Name your files by number in the order you wish for them to appear in the book (example: graphic #1, graphic #2, etc). Please number them sequentially so that we know where they belong and mark the area in your manuscript where you want them inserted.
